She is a veteran of over thirty years of filming, photography and exploration on projects in submerged caves around the world with National Geographic, NOAA, various educational institutions and television networks worldwide. She is the inaugural Explorer in Residence for the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, recipient of Canada’s prestigious Polar Medal and the diving world’s highest award from the Academy of Underwater Arts and Sciences. Erin “RobotGrrl” Kennedy

Founder, Robot Missions
 

Erin “RobotGrrl” Kennedy is the CEO and technical founder of Robot Missions, where she has developed a 3D printed robot to collect plastics on shorelines. Recently, she completed the International Space University Space Studies Program. Now she’s applying the learnings to Arboribots to deploy lighthouses on the Moon powering missions beyond lunar night survival. During the day, Erin has the joy of helping entrepreneurs bring their hardware products to life at Bayview Yards Prototyping Lab. Following an unconventional academic path, she is primarily self-taught. Erin has been recognized as a Lieutenant Governor’s Visionary Prize finalist, and a gold medalist at the RoboGames (aka the ‘robot olympics’). She is a is a proud Global Shaper in the Ottawa Hub, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. Her passion for robotics and the environment is what drives her.

Zoe Knox & Amanda Jetté Knox

Zoe Knox is a mother of four and high-tech professional in telecommunications. Her wife, Amanda Jetté Knox, is a human rights advocate, author and public speaker. They live in Ottawa, Canada and have four children.

The family’s message of unconditional love and acceptance has been featured by media outlets worldwide, including BBC, O Magazine, Buzzfeed, Upworthy, The Independent UK and many others. Dr. Cheryl Netterfield

Cheryl Netterfield joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a medical student in 1991. She completed her Family Medicine residency and continued to work for the military for over 24 years. Her areas of medical interest include family medicine and occupational, sports, aviation and dive medicine. She proudly served her country in two overseas deployments and has worked in over five different provinces across Canada.

Recognizing the struggles of the healthcare system today, she is passionate about developing solutions to empower healthcare teams. She is the Founder and CEO of POMMe-Health, a digital healthtech company, providing a customizable communication platform for care teams managing complex patients. Bernadette Clement

Mayor, City of Cornwall
 

Born in Montreal, Bernadette Clement is the proud daughter of a Franco-Manitoban mother and a father from Trinidad and Tobago. She is a graduate of the University of Ottawa faculty of law, and is Executive Director of the Legal Aid Clinic in Cornwall Ontario. She also became a politician in 2006 and was elected for three terms as a City Councillor. In October of 2018, she became the first woman Mayor of Cornwall and and the first black woman Mayor of a Municipality in Ontario.

Lianne Laing

Lianne Laing is a veteran television broadcaster who spent 20 years in the business, first as a sports anchor and then the host of CTV Morning Life. Two years ago she decided to trade in the 3-30 am alarm clock for a little more sleep and a new way of storytelling. Leaving behind the time constraints and commercial breaks of TV, she took her passion for health and wellness to a podcast platform.  “Living Your Life w Lianne Laing” aims to educate, entertain and inspire her listeners to make informed choices to live longer, healthier and more fulfilled lives. Her incredible network of experts allows her to hit on limitless topics related to healthy living both physically, mentally and spiritually. When Lianne isn’t in the recording studio, she is also a speaker, writer and media consultant.
